BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Chris White as the Birmingham head of development consulting.
Chris, who specialises in viability appraisals, developer procurement, development agreements, delivery models and implementation advice, joins from CBRE, where he was a director of the national development consultancy and regeneration team that provided advice to both the private and public sectors. Prior to this, he was at Castlemore Securities Ltd and Spring Urban Regeneration Ltd. Chris’s clients have included Central Government, HCA, local authorities, development agencies and development corporations, as well as national and regional developers.
The newly formed Birmingham development consulting team will be boosted with the incorporation of the established planning team. Chris will work alongside Kiran Williams, senior planner at BNP Paribas Real Estate, to provide integrated development and planning advisory services within the Midlands.
BNP Paribas Real Estate’s head of Birmingham, Paul Rixon, said: “Chris will help to boost our already established UK development consultancy team, as he brings with him in-depth regeneration expertise. His broad track record includes delivering strategies for town centre retail schemes, large brownfield regeneration schemes and strategic housing sites, bringing together practical experience, commercialism, public processes and delivery models.”
This appointment follows BNP Paribas Real Estate’s recent recruitment of Patrick Pryce as the national head of debt advisory, based within its Birmingham office and Andrew Meikle as head of Birmingham investment.
