Dominions Way Trading Estate on Newport Road, Cardiff is being boosted by a new proactive approach and estate improvement programme.
The appointment of Pramerica Real Estate Investors as investment and asset manager for the Estate, on behalf of John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust, has resulted in the appointment of Knight Frank and Fletcher Morgan as the new joint marketing agents.
Pramerica is planning a series of improvements to the Estate, including an overhaul of the common areas and creating new branding awareness with better signage.
Dominions Way comprises 10 industrial units totalling approximately 95,000 sq ft, ranging from 4,500 to 15,000 sq ft. Tenants include trade counter operations including Arco, The Pipe Center, Unipart and Europcar, as well as Cardiff Council.
Rohan Elizabeth Vince of Pramerica said: “We are keen to work with the existing tenants to ensure that they are happy at Dominions and with the way that the Estate is run, as well as taking a flexible and positive approach to attract new lettings.”
Neil Francis of Knight Frank said: “Dominions Way has a strong location off Newport Road with good access both to the city centre and to the M4 motorway. Interest in trade counter units like these is definitely on the increase in recent months”
Tom Merrifield of Fletcher Morgan said: “Currently, there are three vacant units – totalling 18,000 sq ft – available for rent and Pramerica is willing to consider sub-dividing units to suit the space requirements of new occupiers.”
