The latest addition to Birmingham’s skyline, Two Snowhill, launched today (Friday, 12 April).
The developers of the 14-storey office development, Hines and Ballymore, marked the occasion by opening the building to the public for ten days.
At 310,000 sq ft Two Snowhill is the biggest building to be delivered in the UK regions this year, and one of only two of more than 200,000 sq ft.
A special production of theatre group Stan’s Cafe’s ‘Of All The People In All The World’, using 23 tonnes of rice to tell the story of the world’s population, will be held on the sixth floor of the building from 12 – 21 April (11am – 7pm Mon-Fri; 11am – 6pm Sat/Sun). The show, on the sixth floor, is accessed via scenic glazed lifts, and is free to attend.
Visitors to the development will also be able to see Europe’s largest ‘living wall’. The 7m high wall includes 604 sq m of planting and special effects lighting and runs the length of the 220m Snowhill estate.
