Deputy chief executive of Connect Assist, Rusty Livock, said: “Our potential for growth, innovation and commitment to Wales was key to winning this much sought-after award.
“It’s a fantastic achievement to win both the Rhondda Cynon Taff Business Club Business of the Year and Innovative Business of the Year awards.
“It demonstrates our continued commitment to helping charities deliver the best possible service to those who most need support, as well as our commitment to creating jobs in our local community.”
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Community Safety Cllr Paul Cannon said:
“The winner of Business of the Year was required to demonstrate all round achievement, a clear vision for the future, success against objectives, sustained growth and to be a standard bearer for success in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
“Connect Assist ticked all those boxes and more. With ever-increasing employee growth, commitment from a range of very impressive and high profile partners and innovation, this business is definitely worthy of the title of Business of the Year.”
