A Gallan-run car park at Trowbridge in Wiltshire has won the stamp of approval under the national Park Mark scheme for the second year running.
The 247-space amenity serving the Gateway Shopping Park has retained the prestigious Park Mark it first won last year for meeting the stringent safety and security guidelines of the Association of Chief Police Officers.
The re-accreditation for the purpose-built, rooftop surface car park – which has a pay and display facility, floodlighting and regular security patrols – was made by Wiltshire Police and the British Parking Association.
Gallan Parking, part of leading Birmingham-based property specialists Gallan Group, manages the facility for Standard Life Investments which owns the retail development that includes blue chip companies Boots, Next and Argos.
Gallan Parking has already won Park Mark awards in Sheffield and Wolverhampton and been re-accredited for a car park in Stafford.
Paul Garry, a Director of Gallan Parking, said: “Our aim is to develop all our car parks to Park Mark-winning standard.”
