Emma Villiers, former Global Head of Communication at ING Real Estate and Director of Communication at Land Securities has joined elephant communications as Consultant Director.
Drawing on more than 20 years experience, Emma will work with elephant founders Guy Bellamy and Lindsay Marino on a range of strategy and creative briefs for UK and international assignments.
Emma’s arrival follows the recent appointment Rebecca Ellis Owen to the elephant team and adds to elephant’s commitment to offer clients a win-win combination of senior hands-on advisors working on a low cost business model.
elephant launched last year aiming to offer a fresh consultancy approach and way of working, purpose built to help clients tackle the challenges of a changed economic climate.
Guy Bellamy, Managing Director at elephant commented: “I have known Emma for more that 15 years and what stands out is her tenacity to push boundaries rather than stick to the conventional. Her approach is bold, her ideas are brave and her thinking creative. In recent years she has established a strong track record in linking PR with brand and culture change work and she is a great fit for our culture and way of working.”
In additional to providing senior level strategic advice to clients, Emma will work on elephant clients spanning a number of industry sectors.
Emma commented: “the core of elephant’s vision is to provide clients with the very best service, insight and creativity – these values so strongly align to my own that it seemed natural to say ‘yes’ to Guy and Lindsay’s offer of working with them. I am really excited by the range of services that elephant offers and believe that my expertise will deliver an additional dimension to that offer. elephant is developing its own unique brand focused on today’s economic reality – it has a great future ahead and I am delighted to be part of that future.”
