Congratulations go to Patrick Adie who has won the Nottinghamshire Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year Award. Patrick, a Real Estate lawyer with national law firm Freeth Cartwright, received the award at the Society’s prestigious dinner which was held at the East Midlands Conference Centre on Friday.
The award was granted on the basis of “reputation, experience, acumen, professionalism, commitment to clients, involvement in the community, leadership qualities and energy”, with solicitors and barristers being eligible. Patrick was praised for his charity work with Open Minds (who provide social activities for adults with disabilities) and the Opportunities Fund (a grant giving charity which Patrick is a director of) as well as receiving excellent feedback from clients and colleagues.
Patrick said: “I’m very grateful to those colleagues who nominated me and am delighted to have been given the award – it’s great to be recognised for the effort I’ve put in at work and through volunteering”.
Darren Williamson, head of Real Estate in Nottingham added: “Patrick is a tribute to Nottingham’s professional community and the quality of people in the area. Not only does he command the respect of his colleagues in his work environment but his dedication to community activities and charity make him shine. The recognition is well deserved”.
