Threadneedle Property Investments Ltd has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as joint property agents with B8 Real Estate on its 126,000 sq ft self-contained modern warehouse unit at Lowfields Business Park in Elland, West Yorkshire.
The unit, named Trans Pennine 6/62, was speculatively constructed in 2005 by developer PPG Land. It has been occupied since completion by Bibby Distribution but will become vacate in April. The unit offers 12 metre eaves and eight dock and two ground level loading doors. Set on a large secure site, the property can accommodate up to 20,000 pallet positions.
Richard Harris, head of industrial & logistics agency at Jones Lang LaSalle in Leeds, said: “Lowfields Business Park is a successful industrial estate only one mile from Junction 24 of the M62 and we anticipate, particularly given the lack of available quality warehouse product along the M62 corridor, that we will see a good level of interest in this unit. Its location, equidistant between Leeds and Manchester, means that is ideally placed to serve the Trans Pennine corridor and the north of England as a whole.”
