People are being offered the chance to celebrate Easter in style by hopping on board a special themed-cruise.
The Living Environment Trust will host a two-and-a-half hour Easter-themed cruise on the 70ft Coventrian narrowboat this Easter Sunday.
The cruise will include a three course Sunday lunch provided by Cofas Food and Drink, full bar service and an Easter egg for kids.
Raffaella Tentindo, from the Living Environment Trust, said: “Easter tends to be a holiday when families enjoy spending time in each other’s company and we wanted to offer the opportunity for families to do that in a slightly more unusual setting!
“We are providing everything a family needs to have a cracking time and we are expecting big demand for places on our Easter Sunday Cruise following the success of our recent Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day trips.
“Easter Sunday should be a time for relaxation so rather than slaving over a hot stove, we are helping families to spend time with each other instead of spending time in the kitchen.”
The cruise will depart from Swan Lane Wharf and free secure parking is available on site. The boat will depart at midday and return by 2.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £20 per adult and £15 per child under-14. Coventry Sports Foundation Lifestyles health and Fitness members will pay the discounted price of £15.
