Networking specialist business Introbiz has donated more than £800 to the Battle 2 Brive in aid of Mencap Cymru.
The money was collected by ex-Welsh international rugby star Alix Popham and his Battle 2 Brive team mate, Richard Barningham, who cycled for two hours at an Introbiz networking event at Capital FM studios in Cardiff Bay.
Introbiz director Paul Smolinski said: “We’re always happy to help our members with fundraising, especially if it is for such a good cause as this. Alix and Richard worked really hard at the event to drum up support and the whole group will be behind them when they head for France in April.”
The Battle 2 Brive challenge is being led by Alix Popham and will see a group of cyclists peddle almost 600 miles from Pontypridd to Brive to raise money for Mencap Cymru.
In the past three years Introbiz has raised over £10,000 for charity. Introbiz was founded in 2009 by Tracey Jenkins and with over 150 members is one of south Wales’ biggest business networks.
