SHW completes the sales of three warehouse properties to owner/occupiers

SHW has completed the sale of the freehold interests in three South East warehouses, for a total of c. £6.3 million.

In Croydon, 18 Progress Way has been sold to George Jackson Limited, the decorative plaster specialist, which has taken the 12,916 sq ft refurbished warehouse unit, with ground and first floor office space, for its own occupation.

Alex Gale, Senior Partner of SHW, says: “Our client, the vendor, has done a fantastic job in stripping the unit back to the frame and rebuilding to provide high-specification warehouse and office space to suit a number of occupiers. The unit was offered either to lease or for sale and we are delighted to have secured a new proprietor who will use the space to expand their business.”

Morden’s Unit 7 Beverly Trading Estate has also been sold to an owner/occupier. The 8,443 sq ft semi-detached industrial unit is located at 190-192 Garth Road, a well-established industrial location in the heart of South West London.

The vendor of Beverly Trading Estate London Pumps/Pumpserv has purchased the freehold interest in Aztec House, Unit 8 Perrywood Business Park in Surrey. Sold by SHW, on behalf of behalf of UK Gas Technologies following their expansion & relocation. Pumpserv, the pump sales, services and installation company has taken the 11,603 sq ft high-tech office/workshop/warehouse for its own occupation to accommodate its ongoing expansion.
