Eddisons has confirmed the sale of three separate office premises at Market Harborough’s The Point Business Park on Rockingham Road in deals in which it its agency acted on behalf of the seller.
GloverPriest Solicitors has taken Unit 19, 4,000 sq ft of modern office accommodation in a move that sees them set to scale-up their services.
The 1,500 sq ft of business space in Unit 33 has been purchased by a company specialising in energy systems and air conditioning. The final property sale in the trio of deals sees an education sector operator, already at The Point Business Park, acquire the part-let Unit 15 – a set of offices of 3,500 sq ft, approximately, as an investment purchase with Eddisons instructed to let the first floor offices by the new owner.
GloverPriest Solicitors relocate to their new premises from managed offices at Parker House on Leicester Road, where the practice had been for three years since setting up its first Market Harborough operation.
Having grown its client base in the area from what Business Director, Lee Salih, admits was a ‘cold start’ in the Leicestershire market town, the practice needed to find bigger premises to meet its business service expansion plans.
With GloverPriest Solicitors having a preference for being an owner-occupier in its locations in Birmingham and across the West & East Midlands, its first search in Market Harborough town centre couldn’t locate availability of the right property. Extending its search to the area’s modern business parks, saw The Point Business Park meet the practice’s criteria for a property purchase and a suitable office-base in which it can expand.
GloverPriest Solicitors opened its new Market Harborough office at the beginning of the month (March).
Speaking about the deal conducted by Eddisons’ agency that led to the purchase of Unit 19, Lee Salih commented, “While initially thinking of a town centre office location, in reviewing our plans for recruitment and the extension of our already diverse range of services, The Point Business Park became the obvious choice.
“It has excellent accessibility for employees and clients alike, and we are among like-minded professional business services companies – many of whom offer complementary services to ours.”
Amanda Lawrence of Eddisons’ Kettering & Northampton agency led the marketing & negotiations on all three deals at The Point Business Park.
