A new company which makes steel and aluminium fabrication for the construction industry, and the roofing and cladding market in particular, has opened for business in the Black Country.
D A Profiles Ltd has created seven jobs and taken on a 6,433 sq ft unit at the Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties Ltd (LCP).
The company specialises in the manufacture of products such as flashings and fabrications, profiled sheets, purlins and rails, cills and pressings. It also offers specialist welding services and a comprehensive range of fixings and ancillaries so it can give customers a complete package. It supplies sectors such as healthcare, schools, commercial, industrial and retail.
Director Andy Clarke said: “We may be a new company but we have more than 80 years combined experience in both sales and manufacturing within our target markets. We understand our customers’ requirements and we will provide a professional and efficient service to make the business a success. As we grow we will take on more staff and machinery.
“We looked at several properties and chose Pensnett for our base because its location and motorway links mean we can transport products to our customers across the country with relative ease. It was also important that the estate was well managed and that our unit and offices provided the right impression of our business to visiting customers and suppliers.”
The Pensnett Estate currently has accommodation available to let ranging from offices of 141 sq ft to warehouse and production units of up to 36,525 sq. ft. Owner LCP is based there and is one of the UK’s largest private owners of industrial and retail property. Its total commercial property portfolio in excess of 14 million sq ft is held for long term investment purposes.
