National planning and development consultancy Lichfields has announced the relocation of its Thames Valley office to larger premises.
The consultancy is more than doubling its office space in response to continued strong growth and an expanding team. The move comes as the office, based in Reading, celebrates its 10th anniversary, highlighting the ongoing success and growth of Lichfields across the region.
Led by Daniel Lampard, the Thames Valley team has grown fivefold since its establishment. It brings together a range of highly experienced professionals across key sectors such as leisure, residential, hospitality and logistics.
Daniel Lampard, Head of Lichfields’ Thames Valley Office, said: “We’re excited to move into a larger space as part of our continued growth. The new office reflects our expanding team and increasing client base and it marks an important milestone as we celebrate a very successful decade in the region. We’ve seen consistent growth over the past 10 years, not only in terms of headcount but also in the scale of the projects we’re involved in. With key appointments and senior strategic promotions, we look forward to continuing to support our clients with their ambitions and further growth.”
Lichfields’ Thames Valley office has built a strong reputation for their involvement in flagship projects such as its award-winning work for LEGOLAND Windsor Resort which includes securing planning permissions for new facilities, rides and attractions. Lichfields has helped the resort expand and refresh its offerings while responding to its challenging location in the Green Belt and near Sites of Special Scientific Interest and Ancient Woodland.
The team has also played a pivotal role in other high-profile projects such as the Berkeley Homes’ redevelopment of the Horlicks factory in Slough, Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison hotel & restaurant in Oxfordshire and JP Morgan’s Foundation Park scheme in Maidenhead.
Looking ahead, recent changes in national planning policy have created new avenues for Lichfields to support developments across key sectors particularly housing, data centres and major infrastructure projects. The consultancy’s experience in navigating complex planning environments puts it in a strong position to help clients adapt to changing policy requirements and achieve the full potential of their projects.
Daniel Lampard added: “The updates to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) are creating opportunities for growth and innovation across the Thames Valley, particularly in housing, and also driving forward key infrastructure and regeneration projects that are reshaping the region.”
