Business leaders in Hampshire have a chance to find out in a special seminar how the Chancellor’s Budget will impact upon finances.
Paul Duckworth, a tax specialist to business at the Southampton office of accountancy and investment management group Smith & Williamson, said: “In my view, it is time for George to slay the dragon.
“It is crunch time for the national economy. Manufacturing is contracting, credit ratings are falling and there is further talk of a triple dip.
“The Eastleigh by-election will no doubt also be a factor for the Chancellor to consider.
“We will dig beneath the political crust and review the detail baked into the press releases issued after the speech, to explain how the policies will really impact your personal and business tax position.”
The event, from 8am to 10am on Friday, March 22, is being hosted by the South Coast office of Smith & Williamson at the Hilton Southampton Hotel, Bracken Place, Chilworth, near Southampton.
