Birmingham-based Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality has successfully advised on the sale of the former Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia to Interesting Hotels, an experienced hospitality group, for an undisclosed sum.
The purpose-built hotel at Conwy, which opened in 2021, is nestled at the gateway to Snowdonia and situated adjacent to an adventure resort including a man-made lagoon.
The freehold hotel was purchased unbranded and features 106 guest bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre, luxury spa, four meeting/conference rooms, and an onsite car park for approximately 100 vehicles.
Interesting Hotels Group’s portfolio includes Chateau Rhianfa in Anglesey, Hawkstone Park in Shropshire, Poets House Hotel & Restaurant in Ely, Llangoed Hall in Powys and The Swan at Hay in Herefordshire.
Gavin Wright, founder of Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality, said: “This was an exceptional opportunity to acquire a newly built hotel and spa fitted to an excellent standard near the Snowdonia National Park, which attracts nearly four million people every year.
“The hotel has been successfully acquired by Interesting Hotels, who completed the transaction within just a three week period.
“The hotel has been renamed IXORA Hotel & Spa and adds to Interesting Hotels’ existing portfolio, which includes three other hotels in Wales.”
Ulrike Le Roux, managing director of Interesting Hotels, said: “This was an important acquisition which furthers the development of the group. We welcome the team at IXORA and we look forward to working with them.”
Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality Real Estate was established in November 2023 by Gavin Wright, one of the UK’s most successful hotel and hospitality brokers, with over 24 years’ experience as a senior director and director for two international property firms, JLL and Christie & Co.
