Building consultants at Harris Lamb have overseen the refurbishment of two properties at Minworth Industrial Park to increase their energy efficiency.
Acting for the landlord the business was tasked with the project management of works at Units 28 and 30 in conjunction with Harris Lamb’s Agency team marketing the refurbished opportunities.
Marcus Andrew, who was responsible for the project, said: “We have overseen a number of refurbishment works at the park as buildings have become vacant in recent years, with the aim of providing high-quality warehousing at this popular Midlands commercial site.
“With quality industrial opportunities within the region failing to meet demand, landlords are investing in upgrading facilities to provide the standard of building new tenants are searching for, and in-keeping with current occupier concerns, a particular focus with these properties was energy efficiency, with our works being completed with the goal of improving the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) Rating of each unit.
“Over the past year, we oversaw the refurbishment and upgrade programme of both units, which included new insulated roofs, external and internal repairs, internal and external decoration, new lighting and mechanical installation and the provision of EV charging points.
Other occupiers at the park include Screwfix, Magnet Kitchens, ARCO and MKM Building Supplies, which opened its new £1.5million design and build trade counter.
