HBD, part of Henry Boot, has appointed James Walters as Director as its Midlands development and investment pipeline continues to grow.
James joins HBD’s Birmingham team following roles with Avison Young and Rigby Real Estate, where he was Development Director. James will now work alongside Simon Raiye, Director and Head of Region, to deliver HBD projects across both the East and West Midlands and source new opportunities, with a particular focus on the industrial and logistics sector.
The news follows the recent appointment of Alistair Cockcroft as Development Manager, who joined HBD’s Birmingham team following roles with Godwin Developments, St Modwen and Savills.
HBD is underway with a series of major schemes across the Midlands, including SPARK in Walsall, a best in class manufacturing and logistics hub which will deliver more than 620,000sq ft of space.
Ed Hutchinson, Managing Director of HBD, said: “James is a fantastic addition to our Birmingham team as we continue to grow our pipeline across the industrial and logistics, urban development and residential sectors. His experience and knowledge will be a real asset as we push ahead with large-scale schemes across the Midlands, including SPARK, APEX and Neighbourhood.”
