Mather Jamie has sealed a nine-year deal with a multinational IT firm on offices in Loughborough, just three months after commencing marketing the premises.
The commercial property expert has secured Compusoft as the new tenant for a three-storey office, covering 6,887 ft², on Belton Park Industrial Estate.
Compusoft, a service and specialist IT firm, is moving from its current base in Hugglescote to refurbished offices on Prince William Road.
Alex Reid of Mather Jamie, who marketed the property on a joint basis with James Blenkin and Partners, comments: “We have successfully secured a nine-year tenancy for offices on Loughborough’s Belton Park Industrial Estate within three months of instruction.
“We were brought in to assist with the marketing so we are pleased to have secured a long lease tenant.
“This fully refurbished premises is an attractive detached building, providing office space over three floors and benefitting from lift access, separate services on each floor and a large private car park with 36 spaces.
“The premises occupy a prominent location on Prince William Road, ensuring easy access to local transport links, including junctions 23 and 24 of the M1 and Loughborough train station, which is one mile away. It also lies just eight miles from East Midlands Airport.”
Compusoft, which was established in Norway in 1989 and now operates in 15 countries, has moved in order to accommodate future business growth.
Elaine Housden, Managing Director at Compusoft, comments: “When looking for suitable premises our main aims were to increase our existing office space and to find a location close to our current base in Hugglescote, where we have been for 10 years.
“We have clients based all over the UK, so it was important to us to find offices that could offer the same fast links to the M1 and M42, as well as good rail and airport connections.
“The new office premises in Loughborough suit our needs because they are located just 10 miles away from Hugglescote and are therefore ideal for our existing staff.
“We have reached the point where we need more space and having premises over three floors provides us with a new opportunity to create a designated training and meeting floor.
“This move will support the future growth of the organisation and we hope to create new employment opportunities as demand for our services increases.”
