SHW has completed the sale of the long leasehold interest in Unit 4, a 1,634 sq ft, ground-floor, self-contained office unit at The Tungsten Building in Portslade, East Sussex.
The sale, on behalf of a private individual, was to Bradbury Electrical Contractors who have taken the unit for their own occupation.
Converted into 12 office units in 2006, The Tungsten Building is set back from the main coast road in Portslade (the A259) and is located on the corner of George Street and Capel Road. Units 7 and 10, each offering business space of approx. 2,700 sq ft, are the last units available to buy. Accessed via a shared main entrance, each provides an open plan office area, with a mezzanine level.
Jasmine Dean-Milward, Surveyor at SHW, the retained selling agents for The Tungsten Building, says: “The completion of this sale demonstrates the renewed, positive movement in the market and is a reflection of the appetite for rarely available long leasehold interest in the area.
“The remaining units offer the flexibility to acquire as a ready-made investment or for owner occupation.”
