Geldards’ Corporate team advised Cardiff Capital Region on a £45m finance package to support a major Welsh telecoms company Spectrum Fibre (Ogi).
Cardiff Capital Region comprises the ten councils across South East Wales working together as a partnership to invest in the region, safeguarding jobs and transforming the economy through a programme of business investments.
One of Wales’s fastest growing broadband businesses Ogi is based in South East Wales and is an alternative network provider for businesses and consumers. This significant investment supports Ogi’s ambitious growth plans to further extend their reach within the Cardiff Capital Region, ensuring connectivity for much of South East Wales.
Leading on the deal from the Geldards Corporate team were Partners Andrew Morris and Alex Butler assisted by Solicitor Jamie East and Consultant Karl Baranski who provided banking advice.
