Tritax Symmetry has been granted planning permission by Stroud District Council for the development of Symmetry Park Gloucester on a 67-acre site at Junction 12 of the M5 motorway.
The developer has gained approval for a hybrid planning application for 1.1million sq. ft. of development, comprising detailed consent for two buildings of 163,500 sq. ft. and 241,000 sq. ft. – with outline permission for a further c.700,000 sq. ft. of build-to-suit opportunities.
The project is expected to generate 1,200 new jobs in operation and generate £62million GVA per annum.

The detailed consent for two buildings of 163,500 sq. ft. and 241,000 sq. ft. enables us to deliver new logistics facilities quickly and give much-needed supply for high-quality units over 100,000 sq. ft.”
