Expanding LivGreen is the new tenant at Avon House in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, following a comprehensive refurbishment of the office building by developer Robert Hitchins.
The specialist retrofit contractor is taking over the entire 1100 Parkway North Business Park which spans 7,137 sq ft over two floors. The letting agent was Colliers.
Avon House provides a modern, self-contained open-plan office, equipped with cycle storage, shower and changing facilities.
Sustainability was a main focus of the refurbishment and it is now one of the few out-of-town buildings in Bristol with an EPC A rating. It has been fitted with a new air source heat pump, VRV air conditioning with heat recovery ventilation units, PIR-controlled LED lighting and EV charging points in the car park.
Senior Asset and Development Manager at Robert Hitchins, John Jones, welcomed LivGreen to Avon House. “We’re very pleased with the refurbishment and are pleased to see a growing company which specialises in sustainability making Avon House its new home. We wish them well.”
Managing Director of LivGreen, Carsten Herbert, said: “LivGreen is delighted to be moving into Avon House – a move that is directly representative of our company’s continuous growth and unwavering purpose of achieving NetZero across the UK’s housing stock, including our own. We would like to thank Robert Hitchins for aiding us in reaching the outstanding EPC A rating in our new home so that we can continue to help others do the same.”
Letting agent James Preece, director in Colliers’ National Offices team at Colliers, commented: “The exceptional quality of this newly-renovated office space, eco credentials and prominent location with excellent transport connections, is everything an occupier would need. I anticipate that LivGreen will reap the benefits and will continue to thrive in this new work environment.”
Avon House offers excellent connections by rail and road, located less than one minute’s drive from Bristol Parkway train station and is immediately opposite Nuffield Health Bristol North. It also has easy access to junction 1 of the M32 which leads directly into Bristol City Centre and junction 19 of the M4 motorway.
