St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has completed a 200,000 sq ft warehouse deal at Hilton Business Park in Derbyshire with global transportation and logistics company Kuehne & Nagel.
The Switzerland-based logistics company, which has more than 1,000 offices in over 100 countries, has taken the unit on a three year lease.
The deal is among a raft of high profile leases secured by St. Modwen at Hilton Business Park since the start of the year. These include Gunn JCB, one of the world’s largest JCB construction equipment dealers, which has committed to a 50,000 sq ft unit on a three year lease.
The deals mean that just two units of 50,000 sq ft and 6,000 sq ft now remain at the 79 acre park, which is strategically located less than a mile from the A50 and three miles west of the junction with the A38 at Burnaston. Other tenants at the park include Ascott Transport Ltd. (ATL), Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions and Willi Betz.
Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “To secure even more high profile tenants at Hilton Business Park pays testament to its quality and location in addition to the flexible terms we offer.
“It provides a thriving business community that offers easy access to the M1, M6 and M6 Toll motorways, giving occupiers the benefit of first class transport links to both the north and south of the country.”
Eight acres of storage land is also available at Hilton Business Park, which benefits from a manned gatehouse and 24-hour security. In addition, St. Modwen is also willing to construct new industrial/ warehouse premises to suit occupiers’ needs on a design and build basis (B1 office and light industrial), B2 (general industrial) and B8 (storage and distribution). Buildings from 25,000 sq ft up to 450,000 sq ft can be accommodated on site.
