Sandwell Community Caring Trust (SCCT) has let 6,600 sq ft at Nurton Developments’ Trigate Offices on Hagley Road, Birmingham.
SCCT with its 450-strong workforce, is relocating from offices in West Bromwich to a more efficient floorplate at Trigate.
Established in 1997, SCCT specialises in offering accommodation, care and support to older people with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
The Grade A, Trigate offices provide a more contemporary and secure setting, important for its operational needs, complete with access to generous car parking facilities. It has on-site security and door access control and offers a more attractive proposition for encouraging cycling or walking to work.
Andrew Coley, Chief Executive, Sandwell Community Caring Trust, said: “Trigate strikes a good balance, offering well-located modern offices, with efficient floorplates and a range of amenities and competitive rents.
“We’re also working alongside like-minded organisations which opens up opportunity for collaboration and we feel Trigate is better suited for our organisation moving forward to maintain a secure, motivating and stimulating environment to ensure we can develop the best care providers for our service.”
Set to relocate at the beginning of start of June, SCCT will utilise the space for its 20-office staff, accommodating up to 40 individuals at any one time for training sessions.
David Dyas, Asset Manager for Nurton Developments, said Trigate’s location, ten minutes outside the city centre on one of the main arterial roads into Birmingham, has always been a major plus for organisations such as SCCT.
“Trigate doesn’t come with the same overheads as a city centre office, however, still offers a high-quality working environment, on major bus routes and is minutes away from two M5 junctions and within walking distance of a wide range of shops, restaurants, coffee bars and pubs.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming SCCT and to be able to work alongside them to create an effective work solution for their needs.”
Nurton Developments has invested significantly in Trigate over the past few years adding a new reception area and amenities to promote employee wellbeing, with the addition of new showers, bike storage and breakout areas.
Trigate offers 72,000 sq ft of space across seven floors, with three wings on each floor and is currently let to occupiers including Sky, Rightio and Communicourt.
With the flexible space options available from desk space in Trigate’s business centre to whole floors, Nurton is focussed on helping to nurture businesses within the building and accommodate their growth ambitions.
