easyJet plc has taken an assignment of the entirety of 800 The Boulevard, Capability Green as part of the continued expansion of its Luton estate centred on operations at the airport.
800 The Boulevard provides a prominent Grade A headquarters office building arranged on ground and two upper floors totalling 52,752 sq ft. easyJet has commenced an extensive refurbishment programme which will deliver modern agile workspace for a number of business functions, including the new head office of easyJet Holidays business.
easyJet achieved a record performance during summer 2023, despite high fuel costs and the challenges arising from the external operational environment, which resulted in a pre-tax headline profit of £455 million for the 2023 financial year, an improvement of £633m year on year.
