Birmingham-based building services provider J S Wright is looking forward to success at this year’s industry Oscars after being shortlisted in no less than four categories.
The haul of nominations for the Heating & Ventilation Awards being held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on April 25 is the biggest in the company’s 123-year history.
J S Wright has been shortlisted for the HVAC Contractor of the Year, HVAC Project of the Year, Training Initiative of the Year and the Apprentice of the Year awards.
The mechanical services specialist, with offices in Aston and London, has been a top contractor finalist for the past five years and was overall winner in 2011.
Awarded the world-leading PAS 99 standard for its fully integrated management system last year, it is expecting a record turnover of more than £20 million for 2012.
J S Wright’s nomination for top project recognises its outstanding performance in fitting out Marconi House, one of London’s most exclusive living spaces.
The apprentice nomination is in honour of Scott Ramm, last year’s Apprentice of the Year for London and the South East and now involved in a major mixed-use project for the company at Central Square near The Barbican.
J S Wright has made the finals of the training category for its investment in developing future engineers through the J S Wright Academy, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.
Marcus Aniol, J S Wright Managing Director, said: “Being nominated by our peers for the industry’s biggest awards in four categories is an outstanding achievement and a tribute to our top quality standards and our highly committed workforce.”
