Dwyer Property have pre-let their refurbished unit at Dumers Lane, Bury to UAP Ltd, the national distributor and manufacturer of architectural ironmongery.
This 80,000 sq. ft. unit had been used as an 02 and Tesco Mobile call centre for a number of years, but was originally designed as a high bay warehouse.
A full and comprehensive refurbishment scheme has been carried out of the unit and UAP Ltd have taken a long term lease on the premises.
Giles Veitch of Dwyer Property states:-
“This is a property that we have had a long association with, having owned it previously when it was a call centre.
We were given the opportunity to purchase the property again and jumped at the chance.
We have created a high bay warehouse and are absolutely delighted to have pre let it to UAP Ltd”.
Paul Nolan of Nolan Redshaw who are sole agents on this property states:-
“We originally let this property to Cellnet over 20 years ago and have monitored it over a number of years.
I was personally delighted when Dwyer Group bought the property, as they had spotted the potential to reinvent it as a high bay warehouse, which is how it was originally designed and built.
UAP are a Whitefield based business but have expanded significantly over the past 5-years and have purchased businesses elsewhere throughout the UK.
It is a great vote of confidence for the North Manchester market”.
David Jennings, Managing Director of UAP Ltd, states:-
“This is a substantial expansion for the business and increases our distribution capabilities significantly. We are pleased with the specification of the refurbishment carried out by Dwyer Property and it is a significant step forward for the business”.
