Colliers’ London Offices has hired Joseph Mishon as Head of Flex and Managed Solutions.
He leaves his role at Kitt after four years as Head of Real Estate to spearhead a new advisory and transactional offering for both landlords and occupiers in London.
Joseph will work with the London Offices Leasing team led by Alex Kemp and Tom Wildash to provide advice to landlords on diversifying their products to include flexible and managed solutions. In addition, he will have responsibility for growing the existing brokerage services team within Occupier Advisory, led by Stuart Melrose.
The hire is the second recent strategic move by Colliers following the appointment of Leah Noray, formerly of Argyll and Frameworks, who joined earlier this month to bring her ‘flex’ sales experience to the Leasing team.
Alex Kemp, Co-Head of Leasing for London Offices at Colliers, comments: “Historically, the conventional and ‘flex’ office markets have operated largely as two parallel universes but as they continue to converge, occupiers are considering an increasingly broad menu of solutions in terms of the way they procure their offices. The way we advise Landlords to market their assets and the audiences they need to reach, has had to adapt accordingly.
“Whilst remaining committed to our core London advisory services across the board, our vision is to be able to offer clients a single, cohesive team of high calibre agents who are equally adept in providing advice across the full spectrum of occupational transactions. Integrating the specialist experience that Joseph and Leah possess into our team acts as a significant catalyst on that exciting journey.”
Joseph Mishon adds: “Having helped scale Kitt to a platform of nearly 300,000 sq ft of managed workspace, I’ve seen first hand the ever-changing needs of occupiers being met with new approaches from owners. As this market gradually matures, being able to leverage this insight and advise across the wide range of Colliers’ client base is an exciting prospect.”
