Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors has unveiled a new high profile appointment.
Thomas Szymkiw joins the Nottingham based agency after a lengthy spell with fellow city firm FHP Property Consultants.
Thomas joins NG as a Director of the firm and Head of Agency, a role he says he couldn’t resist.
He said: “After over eight-and-a-half years at FHP I decided it was the right time to take on a new and fresh challenge to progress my career.
“The opportunity as Director and Head of Agency at NG is something I couldn’t turn down. It will provide me with the freedom to operate within multiple property sectors, office and industrial sectors mainly, a whole new different client base and wider spectrum of work.”
NG Managing Director Richard Sutton said: “We’re thrilled that Thomas has chosen to join us. He is vastly experienced already, but, along with our other Directors, we’re sure he will drive the agency forward into the next generation.

Thomas graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying. After that, he travelled the world and worked in Australia whilst living in Sydney.
He started his property career in the residential sector at a local estate agency undertaking sales/lettings in his first agency focused role.
Following this he joined FHP as a Graduate Surveyor in 2015 assisting the office and industrial department. His role evolved to become solely focused on the office sector, mainly dealing with sales, lettings and acquisition.
He was promoted to Associate Director at FHP in 2021.
Thomas added: “This new role with NG will provide me with the springboard to progress my career.
