Recruitment Consultants Mego Employment have announced the appointment of Adam Milburn to the Board as part of an expansion strategy in the South West. Mego was set up in 2004 and from its offices in Totnes and Bristol, provides temporary and permanent staff to leading Westcountry manufacturing companies and airports.

‘We’re delighted to welcome Adam as a Director.’ Says Chris Leonard, Managing Director. ‘Adam brings extensive experience of the manufacturing sector and is already making a significant contribution to our business. It’s a cliché but in our case it’s true that the client is at the heart of what we do. We’re embedded recruiters who work very closely with the senior management teams of our clients. Adam’s focus is on streamlining our systems and taking our recruitment processes from gold to platinum, something we know he’ll do very well.’

Adam joins Victoria Rapson and Chris Leonard as Directors at a time of growth for Mego. With a long standing contract with Bristol Airport, this is a perfect time for Mego to expand into the manufacturing and aviation sectors in and around Bristol.

Adam comments ‘I joined Mego because I had experience of them as a service provider and I was attracted to the way they work, and the different business model they have created. I’m delighted to be joining as a Director and I am excited about our ambitions for the business and for the future.’

Adam joins Mego with years of operational and managerial experience under his belt, which give him valuable insights into how the manufacturing sector operates and their priorities. ‘Skills shortages remain an issue in the South West and we’re working with employers on short and long term solutions to those issues. It’s something I feel strongly about, and I am keen to demonstrate to new clients how working with them strategically can add real value, leading to enduring win-win relationships.’ Adam added.
