Jones Lang LaSalle today announce that James Dolphin, Head of EMEA Retail Agency, has been appointed Lead Director, International Retail, a new role created to help retail clients expand globally.
Robert Bonwell, CEO – EMEA Retail at Jones Lang LaSalle said “James has tremendous expertise in helping retail clients with their long-term expansion plans in Europe and has strong links with our global retail teams. He will have particular focus on China and will work closely with our 12 offices there. This appointment strengthens the Jones Lang LaSalle retail service and will better help European retailers expanding into Asia and Asian retailers moving the other way.”
Commenting, James Dolphin, Lead Director, International Retail at Jones Lang LaSalle added: “There has been a rapid rise in the number of retailers who want to access growth in new markets. For many, there are ambitious plans to expand East, whilst the trickle of Asian brands entering European markets such as London and Paris will soon become a steady influx.”
James is a member of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Global Retail Agency Board which is chaired by UK Chief Executive Guy Grainger, alongside other senior retail colleagues in Paris, Hong Kong, Chicago and Mumbai.
He will retain his existing role as Head of EMEA Retail Agency. The expanded role comes into effect immediately.
