The Office Group announces PANGAIA as one of the first tenants at Chancery House

The Office Group, the premium flexible workspace provider, is pleased to welcome PANGAIA, the powered-by-nature premium lifestyle apparel brand, as one of its first tenants at Chancery House. The building is the Group’s largest and most ambitious workspace to date and opens its doors for the first time this week.

Chancery House covers 125,000 sq ft in total, with PANGAIA’s new workspace spanning 5,700 sq ft.

The building has achieved Platinum WELL Certification™, the highest level of certification from the International WELL Building Institute. WELL is a performance-based rating system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring building features that impact human health and wellness – including air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind and community.

PANGAIA’s decision to move into Chancery House was driven by the brand’s commitment to its Earth-positive mission, aiming to give back more than we take from the planet. The company’s new office location was carefully considered, taking into account rigorous sustainability criteria – with the building’s ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating and WELL certification being key to its selection.

Enrico Sanna, CEO of The Office Group, commented:

“Today represents an exciting milestone for The Office Group. We are delighted to welcome PANGAIA as we open the doors to Chancery House. Their forward-thinking approach and commitment to an Earth-positive business model resonate with The Office Group’s values and our ambitions for this property.

“Chancery House offers unrivalled customer experience and a space for those who recognise that the office is no longer simply a commodity but a vital tool for ensuring employee health and wellbeing – both of which are key factors for driving productivity and ultimately, business performance. The building is truly a standout in London, with facilities and amenities that staff will want to come to work for.”

PANGAIA Collective commented:

“Team PANGAIA are delighted to be taking up residence in Chancery House. We are excited to have found a partner with shared values in The Office Group, with their wellbeing-focused workspace designed to provide teams with a flexible work environment that caters to their every need, while prioritising people and the planet.”

The building places members’ health, wellbeing and productivity at its core. It boasts an abundance of natural light, air quality monitoring mechanisms, outdoor terraces and a calming design and colour palette throughout.

More than a quarter of the entire workspace is dedicated to wellness; facilities include a fitness suite operated by Manor London – with regular free classes and training available, private workout areas, a yoga studio, a wellness room, infra-red saunas, as well as a café.

Other members taking space in the building include the International Bar Association, reflecting the area’s historical ties with the legal profession and its proximity to the Royal Courts of Justice.

The Office Group continues to see strong demand for space across its wider portfolio, with enquiries up 20 per cent on a like-for-like basis compared to pre-pandemic – helping to drive high occupancy levels.

Since the Group acquired the landmark building in 2019, Chancery House has undergone a complete transformation, led by dMFK Architects and Norm Architects, with wellness and customer experience as key priorities for The Office Group.

The property is designed to cater to different working styles and needs – from focused study, to rest, to collaboration and socialisation – with a range of workspace formats. Arranged over eight floors, Chancery House includes private booths, break-out spaces, meeting rooms, lounges and a library, alongside traditional desk space, helping members to work in their best way.

Members can also connect with nature through Chancery House’s green spaces, which include a biodiversity-boosting, publicly accessible urban garden that was converted in collaboration with Spacehub, a company specialising in landscape architecture, urban design and ecology, from what was previously an underused car park.
