Amberon, the UK’s leading traffic management company, continues its growth and expansion with the opening of a new depot in Wiltshire. On behalf of Devizes Steel Supplies Enterprises Ltd., Carter Jonas has secured a five-year lease with Amberon for an 11,474 sq. ft. detached industrial unit and yard at Sells Green, Devizes, Wiltshire.
Torquay-based Amberon Ltd. was founded in 2002, initially providing battery traffic lights for hire. The business grew to provide additional services, and traffic management solutions are now its core focus.
Amberon’s new space will operate as one of its strategically positioned UK depots. These hubs enable the business to provide a truly UK-wide service with a sustained focus on its customers and health and safety being at the forefront of its operations.
Alison Williams, Partner, Commercial, Carter Jonas said: “This unit will make an ideal site for Amberon to continue its expansion. The self-contained premises is well located, positioned between Melksham and Devices and perfect for accessing the wider region.
“The property itself is of a steel portal frame construction and was previously used as a trade counter and office. Additionally, the secure, self-contained yard includes ample space for parking and circulation provision, which should meet all of Amberon’s logistical requirements, enabling its team to focus on its customers.”
Dan East, Commercial Director, Amberon commented: “We are really pleased to announce our continued expansion and commitment to the county of Wiltshire. With these new premises, we will be able to expand our fleet and our operational centre to offer an even better service to our customers in the area.”
