Acting on behalf of Praedia Investment Limited, Jones Lang LaSalle’s industrial agency team has let a 10,460 sq ft warehouse at Houndhill Park, Dearne Valley, near Rotherham.
Crosby Kitchens, a major UK kitchen design and supplier, has agreed a five year lease on Unit 4 which comprises 10,460 sq ft of trade counter and storage space as well as including 2,735 sq ft of first floor offices. Crosby Kitchens has jointly relocated its administrative function from offices in Maltby, as well as a large part of its warehousing from Edinburgh into the unit, which also benefits from a large dedicated yard and car parking spaces.
Richard Harris, director from Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “The deal works well for both Praedia Investment Limited and Crosby Kitchens who can now invest in this larger space over the medium term.”
Houndhill Park, a multi-let warehouse park located in the established distribution area of Dearne Valley, which sits between Junction 36 of the M1 and Junction 37 of the A1M. Constructed in 2001, the park provides a mix of ten modern warehouse units arranged in free standing and terraced blocks totalling 204,000 sq ft. Units 7 and 8 are available which comprise 32,925 sq ft and 24,600 sq ft respectively.
