A Dorset planning consultancy has strengthened its team with two appointments – including a new director.
Ken Parke Planning Consultants Ltd (KPPC) has recruited experienced planner Karen Beech as a director to help drive its expansion plans.
The Bournemouth-based firm has also welcomed administrator Mandy Paddock to its team to help boost capacity amid an increase in demand from commercial and residential clients nationwide, especially mid-sized developers.
Ken Parke, who founded KPCC with wife Angela in 2003, said: “A warm welcome goes to Karen and Mandy.
“Their appointments strengthen our team significantly and are integral to our long-term strategic growth plans for the business.
“Both have considerable experience with Mandy able to bolster our ‘engine room’ and help provide the greatest customer service and support.
“Karen brings longstanding expertise from both a developer and consultancy perspective, which will help us maximise the opportunities ahead.
“These are exciting times for all at KPPC and we look forward to supporting even more clients in the future especially mid-sized developers.”
Karen and Mandy join KPPC’s eight-strong team in Bournemouth from where they support clients nationwide.
Karen has more than 20 years’ planning experience and has previously worked at Bidwells, Lichfields, the Kier Group and Vincent & Gorbing.
She has extensive expertise in delivering a wide range of developments of varying sizes including residential, individual dwellings, commercial and retail schemes.
Karen said: “I’m looking forward to working closely with the team at KPPC and playing my part in the continued expansion of the business.”
Administrative assistant Mandy has worked in multiple sectors including sport, insurance, structural engineering and education.
She said: “Property has always been very close to my heart and I am enjoying the opportunity to help KPPC grow while carrying out an interesting and rewarding job.”
KPPC serves clients across the South and nationwide, including property developers, land owners, affordable housing providers, pension fund managers, private individuals, householders and businesses.
