Office Principles North has been chosen to deliver the new Manchester headquarters of fast-growing online fashion retailer, Club L London.
The leading interior design consultancy will refurbish 18,000 sq ft of office space at Think Park, Trafford to create a dynamic, boutique-style workspace experience that will cater for as many as 100 employees.
Office Principles North has designed a non-traditional office environment to entice people back to the workplace, with features including a showpiece bar area and events space. There will also be an in-house creative content and design studio, an Apple-style ‘Genius Bar’ IT workspace, contemporary pods, as well as a boutique area for design, with luxury fitting room suites.
Multi-functional areas will maximise available space, delivering a combination of high end private meeting rooms, collaborative luxury lounge areas and entertainment spaces. It will also include booth seating, industrial display railings for trialling garments, a modern day design resource area, which includes a ‘sign-off’ snug, as well as purposely designed storage spaces.
The workspace will be characterised by luxury, premium finishes with gold accents, full height windows, an extensive use of greenery and large wall mounted imagery, including Club L’s signature signage.
Club L London was founded in 2007 by Katie Randev, with the vision of offering premium long-lasting styles, trend-oriented collections with a modern twist and statement designs, in an otherwise saturated market of throwaway fashion goods. It is relocating to Think Park from its existing premises at Parkway Business Centre in Manchester.
Tina Batham, joint managing director of Office Principles North, said that the 10-week design and fit out project will create a “beautiful home” for Club L London, where its people will want to work.
She said: “Employees increasingly have a choice of how and where to work, which means that the office has to deliver so much more than it ever has before. We’ve worked in collaboration with Club L London to design an ‘influencer centric’ workplace destination that people will be excited by. It will not only provide a home for the brand’s growing workforce to work and play, but sets it apart from the competition and will support its ongoing drive to attract the brightest new talent.
“We’ll be delivering a well planned office layout that makes the best use of available space, and is complemented by a design that will deliver a luxurious, sophisticated feel. It’s an ideal environment for Club L London to write the next chapter in its already impressive success story.”
Katie Randev, founder and CEO of Club L London, said: “This is the second time in as many years that we’ve needed to move offices due to growth. We’re now nearly twenty times as big as we were two years ago and this new office gives us the perfect space to grow into and help us achieve our future ambitions. We wanted to invest in a stylish and inspiring office space to align with our brand, and one that our teams will love coming into each day.”
