On behalf of P&D Properties, Carter Jonas has secured a new occupier at Unit 1, Beanacre Park, Melksham, Wiltshire. Natural Treats Ltd. has recently opened its doors, having agreed a 10-year lease on the former Plumbstop premises, comprising 4,248 sq ft of space.
Natural Treats sells a range of dog and cat training treats, chews, raw food, health supplements, toys and accessories. All products are carefully chosen for their quality including a variety of single-protein foods.
The Beanacre Park unit is located on the A350, less than a mile from Melksham town centre. It has excellent road frontage and customer parking and benefits from good passing trade from several nearby occupiers, including Melksham’s Leekes Department Store and Woodpecker Furniture. The building comprises a portal frame structure, with a trade counter to the front and storage towards the rear.
Carter Jonas’ team also supported the site’s former occupier, Plumbstop, with its relocation to larger premises at Western Way, Melksham. The 6,463 sq ft purpose-built trade counter was originally occupied by Mitsubishi.
Alison William, Partner, Commercial, Carter Jonas said: “We are so pleased to welcome Natural Treats to their new Wiltshire home as it continues to expand in the region. Beanacre Road is a great site from which the business can grow and provides ample space to display its vast range of products and enough room for all its customers, including even the largest canine variety.”
“With lots of passing business, the Natural Treats team were inundated with enquiries, even before its formal opening, and I do not doubt that this outlet will become a firm favourite in the community.”
