Rewind to February 2020 and Flude Property Consultants had just been instructed to market a number of newly refurbished floors at Aspect House in Brighton.
Their clients, Savills Investment Management, had completed a comprehensive programme of refurbishment works to reconfigure and refurbish the available floors to create high spec, modern open plan workspace fitted to a Category A specification.
However, almost immediately thereafter, the market came to a complete standstill and the UK was thrown in to a national lockdown following the breakout of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In the two years since, Flude have seen the landscape in the office market change dramatically. Whilst the demand for offices took a major hit in the early stages of the Pandemic, Flude have subsequently experienced a good level of interest in the floors, and have now let in excess of 25,000 sq ft at the building to a range of occupiers in the health, tech, digital and creative sectors.
Flude Director, Ed Deslandes, commented, “It has been great working with our clients Savills IM on these disposals and others in central Brighton in recent years, and notwithstanding what at times has been a particularly challenging market. Flude Property Consultants are now instructed on the newly available 4th floor suite at the building, which has been part fitted.
