CEG has secured four new tenants to the flagship Stuart House which means the flagship office development in Peterborough is now fully let.
Optical Express has taken 5,688 sq ft, Kidney Research UK 5,469 sq ft and the Royal Horticultural Society 5,403 sq ft, with FC Workforce taking 1,706 sq ft.
A spokesperson from Optical Express said “Stuart House offers a great, central location so it’s convenient for our patients. The onsite café and leisure facilities also mean that it’s a fantastic environment for our colleagues. The move here will ensure we can continue to retain and attract the best talent which will allow us to continue to deliver world class clinical care to our patients.”
Alex Goode from CEG said: “It is fantastic to welcome four high-profile tenants to Stuart House. We managed a multimillion-pound investment into the building, delivering a fantastic range of amenities including a headquarter quality reception area. As a result, the building is now fully let.
“With a range of high-quality corporate space and Let Ready offering all-inclusive, flexible workspace for small and growing companies, this has successfully created a thriving and diverse business community.”
Located in the heart of Peterborough’s city centre, Stuart House offers spaces from 500 sq ft for smaller, start-up businesses up to full floors of 24,000 sq ft.
An independent café on the ground floor of the building, The Hub Coffee and Co-working, provides a unique space to eat, work, meet and collaborate. Secure indoor cycling facilities, a gym, leisure club quality showers, and fast, free Wi-Fi throughout, has helped to attract new businesses to the St John’s Street building.
As part of a multimillion-pound refurbishment, CEG delivered fully-furnished studios, providing a high-quality working environment for small to medium, fast-growing businesses and those needing project space.
Grow-working at its best, they offer tenants their own space with 24/7 access whilst being part of a wider thriving community. Each comes fully equipped with internet ready workstations, beautifully furnished break-out space, modern kitchens and their own meeting room. CEG also offers clear, simple, flexible leases and competitive pricing.
Savills and Eddisons are marketing and letting the building on behalf of CEG. Edward Gee, associate director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “Situated in the heart of Peterborough city centre, Stuart House offers some of the best grade A office accommodation in the city, which following a significant refurbishment programme in recent years provides occupiers with excellent amenity including a café and gym, which is free for building tenants. As businesses continue their flight to quality following the pandemic, Stuart House has been able to provide the ideal space to meet these requirements.”
