JTRE London has strengthened its market-leading Sales & Marketing team with three strategic appointments. Tom Banks has joined from Berkeley Group as Head of Marketing; Paulina Tokarska, previously an associate at Knight Frank, is the new Residential Sales Manager; and Samantha Poole has moved from Barratt London to be the Customer Care Manager.
JTRE London was founded in September 2019 by one of Central Europe’s leading property developers, J&T Real Estate, which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Slovakia headquartered firm has real estate projects in nine countries having developed and managed some 11 million sq ft of space with a gross development value of over £1.6bn.
Nigel Fleming, Sales & Marketing Director of JTRE London who joined the company in September 2021, said: “Our three new recruits are part of a phenomenal team we’re assembling in keeping with the ambitions of J&T Real Estate for London. The experience they bring will further the aim with all our developments to create buildings that are architecturally-inspiring, add significantly to their districts and offer a spectrum of high-quality added value attractions to delight residents and commercial tenants, alike.”
At MIPIM 2022, J&T Real Estate announced that £200m of equity had been committed, initially, to build a London development portfolio. Combined with borrowings, this will give the company £500m to invest in the UK capital city. JTRE London is presently developing the game changing, £450m Triptych Bankside mixed-use scheme on London’s Southbank.
The Triptych Bankside development is a short walk from London Bridge station, next to Tate Modern art gallery, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, the renowned culinary hotspot at Borough Market and the Millennium Bridge. Its close proximity to the City of London and the West End makes it ideally situated for both residential and commercial interests.
Tom Banks added: “I was greatly drawn to the ambition of the JTRE team which is focused on creating a market-leading business dedicated to delivering top quality homes and appealing commercial spaces. This is a really exciting moment in the company’s growth, adding to its impressive track-record across different countries, and I’m looking forward to playing a major role in the ongoing journey.”
Nigel Fleming concluded: “Adding to the incredible success of Triptych Bankside and with funds being made available to invest, the potential for JTRE London at this time is significant. Our aim is to make a considerable difference to the appeal of the city, as we have done in other countries. We’re looking at several new schemes currently and anticipate making announcements shortly. Our strengthened Sales & Marketing team marks the start of a new phase for the company and will provide a strong platform for this next step of our growth.”
