Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has appointed a new head of building consultancy for the South-West. Keith Godsmark joins from Colliers, where he headed up the building surveying and project management team covering the south-west and Wales.
Keith brings with him over 30 years of transferable and sector specific expertise across the surveying, aviation, defence and engineering industries. Keith has an extensive track record in technical due diligence, development and fund monitoring, as well as significant dilapidations experience acting for both landlords and tenants and has provided strategic advice regarding break options, exit strategies and cost mitigation.
He will be joined by Ruth Partington, also previously of Colliers, who joins the team as an associate director. An experienced building surveyor and project manager, Ruth has expertise across a range of industry sectors with a particular emphasis on leisure, having previously held in-house roles at Stonegate Pub Company, Greene King and Marstons PLC.
Peter Musgrove, head of LSH’s Bristol office, said: “A growing pipeline of mandates calls for additional strength and leadership across the entire region. Both Keith and Ruth are valuable additions to the wider team and reinforce our commitment to further strengthening this important business line and to provide one of the market’s most experienced and best resourced teams.”
