Debt recovery company Sonex has leased an office at the Longcross multi-let office building on Newport Road, Cardiff.
The company, which was formerly based in Llanelli, has leased a 4,290 sq ft office suite on the first floor, on a five-year lease. Landlord Picton was advised in the transaction by property consultancy Knight Frank.
The Longcross office building has undergone a major refurbishment to transform the building to create modern and well specified office accommodation throughout. In addition, over 2,000 sq ft of the first floor has been converted into a new occupier break-out space called The Link that offers meeting rooms, kitchen and shared facilities for all occupiers within the building.
High quality showers and changing rooms have also been created.
Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton are joint letting agents for the building. Tom Eddolls from the Cardiff office of Knight Frank said: “Most of Cardiff’s office agents recently attended a launch to see for themselves the newly refurbished workspace.
“The building now provides ultimate flexibility, with suites available from 1,623 sq ft up to 10,000 sq ft on a single floor. The overhaul of the large reception area, plus the addition of cycle storage in the basement parking area, has significantly improved the working environment offered by this landmark building.”
Longcross is situated on the corner of Newport Road and City Road in Cardiff city centre.
