One of the main industrial estates in Portsmouth is close to calling full house.
Property consultancy Vail Williams acted in the latest deal at the 300,000 sq ft Railway Triangle in Walton Road, Drayton.
Unit A12 has been let to A2R Tooling, a supplier of plastic components, primarily to the automotive industry. A further 5,346 sq ft unit has also been leased to Network Rail.
Railway Triangle comprises six blocks of terraced units, close to the M27 corridor, A27 and A3(M).
Alex Gauntlett, a surveyor and associate working from Vail Williams’ Portsmouth office at Lakeside North Harbour, said: “Railway Triangle has always been a sought-after location because of its transport links and international ferry routes, underscored by the latest occupancy interest from businesses also looking for warehousing and offices under one roof.”
He added: “As things stand, there is only one unit which is available, 5,399 sq A7, which has been fully refurbished ready for occupation We expect keen interest from occupiers. There is surprisingly little available in the way of leased warehousing and industrial space in the Portsmouth region – demand outstrips supply.”
Joint agents of Railway Triangle are Vail Williams and LSH, representing DTZ Investors.
