A leading property consultancy has announced a raft of promotions following further success in the past year.
Fisher German, headquartered in Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, has announced 26 new promotions plus 14 new partners across all divisions of the business.
Among the new partners is Angela Brooks, who joined Fisher German in 2013 after eight years working for a specialist planning firm in Bedford. She manages a team of five working on strategic planning goals for clients all over the country.
Angela said: “It was a fantastic feeling to be invited into the partnership – I love working at Fisher German and the firm has always supported my career ambitions.
“I’m looking forward to continuing the great work our team is doing for our clients, whether advising on the best ways to secure planning permissions, assessing sites for development suitability, assisting with appeals and everything in between.”
And Ben Longstaff, who joined Fisher German in 2007, has been promoted to partner after a great period of success heading up the firm’s Central Agency team which sells rural properties across the Midlands.
He said: “It’s been amazing to see how the firm has changed since I joined 15 years ago. It has grown hugely, and I’m really pleased with how my career has grown alongside it. I started specialising in agency in 2009, and Fisher German’s training has helped me develop my skills over the years, especially in leadership.
“Now I am responsible for a fantastic team of 10 who do a great job selling all sorts of properties all over the Midlands. I’m delighted to have been invited into the partnership, and I’m looking forward to leading the Central Agency Team to bigger and better things as the firm continues to go from strength to strength.”
The promotions come after the firm’s merger with Matthews & Goodman earlier in the year, which created one of the largest providers of multi-disciplinary property services in the UK, with a turnover approaching £60 million with 29 offices.
Senior Partner at Fisher German Duncan Bedhall said: “We are once again pleased to see a high number of people advancing within the firm as part of our career progression framework.
“As our business and Partnership continue to grow, we are seeing an increase in opportunities for our colleagues to develop and progress their careers, with a wide variety of career pathways available beyond the traditional graduate route. It is an incredibly exciting time to be working at Fisher German.”
