Two semi-detached industrial units totalling 30,000 sq ft have been developed and sold at Cheshire Green Industrial Estate, Wardle.
Spitfire Property Holdings developed Units 1C and 1D measuring 8,000 sq ft and 22,500 sq ft respectively. The former has been sold to contract packaging company Unette which is an existing occupier on the estate and has purchased the unit to support its expansion programme.
Unit 1D has been sold to a private investor and is now available to let.
The semi-detached industrial buildings are the latest units to be developed by Spitfire which has now built over 100,000 sq ft of industrial floorspace across the estate and has also submitted a reserved matters planning application for a further 32,000 sq ft.
Ben Lamont, associate director of business space at Legat Owen, sole agent for the scheme said: “Cheshire Green has become a genuine success story in the South Cheshire market.
“Spitfire’s confidence in developing further space here, and their ability to pre-sell, demonstrates that there is strong demand for good-quality new-build industrial space among both investors and owner-occupiers.
“It’s also really pleasing to see Unette’s continued growth and expansion as a business at Cheshire Green.”
Cheshire Green is located off the A51 at Wardle, within easy reach of Crewe and Chester and 13 miles from Junction 16 of the M6.
Occupiers include NWF, Boughey Distribution, Rowlinsons Timber, TI Midwood & Co, Barnes Logistics, Fabulosa and PCO Group.
Unit 1D is available on a leasehold basis with a quoting rent of £178,000 per year. The building is brand new and benefits from a dedicated yard and an internal fitted office with a reception area.
