Global professional services firm RPS is delighted to have opened its new office in the heart of Birmingham’s business district.
Signifying its long-term commitment to the second city and helping to grow its regional presence, RPS has signed a ten-year lease on the fourth floor of 1 Newhall Street, moving from its Bradford Street office in Digbeth.
A modern working space with easy access to train links from Birmingham Snow Hill and New Street stations, the new office supports 120 staff with a huge focus on the work-life balance of employees post-Covid. It provides agile working environments, social hubs to hold informal meetings or get together and collaborate as a team, and breakaway spaces for staff to step away from desks or focus on work in quieter areas.
It will bring a diverse mix of services in a much-improved sustainable location all under one roof. Services will include design, engineering, planning, environmental, and project and cost management.
The move to central Birmingham will provide huge value to both clients and staff alike, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance to socialise and catch-up in.
To celebrate, the Mayor of The West Midlands Andy Street will officially open the new office at a ribbon-cutting event this Thursday (29th September).
Tim Downing, Managing Director for RPS Consulting & Ireland, said: “It’s a fantastic new office space which positions us in the best possible location to service our clients, and create a great working environment for employees.
“We’re a global leading consultancy with facilities and amenities to match. We look forward to continuing to provide first-class consultancy services to our clients, not only in Birmingham, but across the wider West Midlands region and the UK.”
As part of this move, RPS is expanding and looking for a wide range of talented professionals to join its team. Providing the opportunity to meet the team and learn more about available opportunities, RPS is hosting an open recruitment evening on Thursday 6th October from 4.30pm-7pm.
