QinetiQ, advised by Curchod & Co and Lambert Smith Hampton, has concluded four transactions, totalling over 5,000 sq ft, at its Cody Technology Park in Farnborough, Hampshire.
Existing occupiers, UK Connect and Vistajet, have taken expansion space at the 257-acre business park to accommodate their ongoing business needs. Whilst at the same time, two new tenants, Tactical Support Solutions and Sentinel Photonics, have joined the growing business community at the park.
Phillip Holmes of QinetiQ, said: “The four businesses required high-quality and secure accommodation that would suit their individual occupational needs and the lettings underline the strong demand we have witnessed for modern and flexible space, with good access to the transport network, over the first quarter of 2022.”
Neil Peattie, Managing Director at Tactical Support Solutions Ltd, said: “Being located at Cody Technology Park has given Tactical Support Solutions a strategic advantage. The park enables an SME like Tactical Support Solutions to have access to a secure facility which would normally be associated with a larger company. But more than that, we also have access to high-end support facilities such as meeting, and conferencing facilities which can be used on an as-needed basis. Other benefits include the on-site restaurant and gym, which help us to attract and retain staff.”
Head of Internal Operations at UK Connect Kate Hurst commented; “The team at UK Connect has expanded rapidly, particularly over the past year, so we are naturally very excited to expand our office space at Cody Technology Park. It is also a great base for us, being a tech-focused company. This expansion will offer our employees a more collaborative space, and significantly, we will be able to create a central home for our Network Operations Centre, helping us better support our customers throughout the UK. The whole team at UK Connect can’t wait to see our new office space!”
