BNP Paribas Real Estate has announced it has expanded its tenant representation team with the appointment of Paul Anglo as Director of Flexible Office Solutions, as medium-to-large scale corporations increasingly seek on-demand workspaces to support hybrid working practices.
Paul joins following a 7 year career at occupier property consultancy firm, DeVono, where he held the role of Associate Director. Prior to this, he served as a consultant at flexible office broker, Office Freedom. In his new position at BNP Paribas Real Estate, he will lead BNPPRE’s Office Flex team which will be an integral part of the tenant representation team.
Ben Thomson, Senior Director, Head of Tenant Representation at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented: “As the spaces which once defined work, retail, leisure, and home are transformed by lasting behaviour changes, getting the right space and best terms for your business and employees has never been more essential. Our team is renowned for advising UK and overseas occupiers on some of the largest London office transactions in recent years, and we have seen the landscape of office occupation requirements shift in a post-pandemic world.
“Integrating a flexible workspace strategy is now at the core of many occupiers’ requirements, and Paul’s specialist knowledge will complement our fully integrated occupier property services. Occupiers now more than ever are having to adjust how they use their office space and increasingly need a flexible solution.”
Paul Anglo, Director, Flexible Office Solutions at BNP Paribas Real Estate added: “In a quickly changing corporate climate, adding flexible office space into a real estate strategy, whether a one-off flexible office buy or a full real estate strategy, is an effective method to manage unanticipated change and growth. I look forward to developing this service within Ben’s team and supporting clients with market leading insights as many of them venture into a flex model for the first time.”
BNP Paribas Real Estate’s tenant representation team forms part of its occupier solutions division, led by Tom Bolland. Occupier solutions delivers fully integrated portfolio management and occupational strategies to support business transformation and deliver balance sheet enhancing solutions.
Paul’s appointment is the latest to be announced to the growing occupier solutions offering and follows the hire of Tanisha Krishnan as Associate Director, Workplace Strategy and Change. In support of the next generation of talent, Will Meldon and Daniel Mooney also joined recently as surveyors with portfolio management.
