A vital Nottingham charity has bought new office premises after a deal brokered by city property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors and Musson Liggins.
RSPCA Nottingham & Notts has moved into 7 Farrington Way on Eastwood Link Office Park in Nottinghamshire. The unit provides almost 2,000 sq ft of open plan office space.
The charity had been looking to source alternative fit for purpose branch premises for some time.
Kerry Grinrod, Chair, said: “We believe that the new premises at 7 Farrington Way, Eastwood align well with our long- term objectives.
“The move will enable the Branch to evolve and thereby fulfil its strategy for enduring sustainability in the interests of animal welfare.
“The collaborative efforts of both Richard Sutton at NG and David Bladen of our retained surveyors Musson Liggins, enabled a swift deal to be achieved on mutually agreeable terms.”
Charlotte Steggles of NG Chartered Surveyors, added: “This is a fantastic deal for our vendor client and for the charity.
“RSPCA Nottingham & Notts carries out vital work in the field of animal welfare, and so it’s particularly pleasing to be involved in a transaction that will make a real difference. We wish them well in their new office space.
“The deal also goes to show that the out of town office market is still thriving and that proactive vendors, with our help, will always prove popular with prospective buyers.”
David Bladen, director of Musson Liggins, who acted for RSPCA Nottingham & Notts added: “It has been a pleasure assisting such a fantastic charity and helping them acquire a new office. We have found them the perfect home to continue their great work. It is not always straightforward buying premises in a competitive market and we are pleased to have been able to secure a suitable property for the RSPCA through our market knowledge, connections and expertise in commercial property.
“We now have the task of selling the RSPCA’s previous premises on Radford Road, which is under offer after two weeks of marketing following significant interest.”
